As the people who make the manuals at Haynes (our parent company) and Clymer we are naturally enthusiastic about powersports, so we love to get out and talk to other gearheads; the folks who buy our products. In October, during the the premier West Coast motorcycle rally, Las Vegas BikeFest, the American International Motorcycle Expo is taking place at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center from the 11th to the 14th, and we are excited to be there.
AIMExpo, as it is often called, is the biggest powersports industry get together in the USA, featuring the newest product from manufacturers of cruisers, scooters, sport bikes, dirt bikes, ATVs, accessories, gear and more. At the show, you can see all the latest 2018 and even some 2019 bikes, plus test ride bikes from Harley-Davidson, Indian, Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, and SSR Motorsports, and trikes from Vanderhall and Slingshot. The first two days of the event are strictly for industry professionals, dealers, manufacturers, and others in the trade, but Saturday the 13th and Sunday the 14th are for the general public, and we even have a discount code for you to get tickets (see the bottom of this page).
At the Haynes/Clymer booth (number 2348 next to Alpinestars) you’ll be able to flip through the latest powersports manuals. We expect to have the new Honda Grom MTX125 and Triumph 1050 Speed Triple/Sprint/Tiger books from Haynes. Also, new from Clymer will be the Yamaha Blaster 200cc ATV and TT 50-125cc dirt bikes manuals. Plus, We can show you the digital version of our manuals, the new way to find precisely the information you want, instantly, on your smartphone, tablet or computer.
Ron Wright, the mechanic and writer of many of our manuals, going back decades, will be on hand for much of the show, and in the booth to show you some of his time-saving tricks. Ron has even promised to bring along some of the tools he has made himself to make working on bikes easier, without the expensive dealer tools.
If you are a dealer or just a powersports fan who plans on being in Vegas for BikeFest anyway, you ought to stop by the show.
